2007, choreography for solo dancer and video projection
Commissioned by Toronto Dance Theatre, the performance features a dancer interpreting a melancholy self-description from an anonymous profile on a gay personals website into semaphore. The message is projected letter by letter behind the performer on a 30 second delay.
MAYDAY premiered on May 19, 2007 at Toronto's Winchester Street Theatre, interpreted by dancer Brendan Jensen.
